Challenging times for international transport companies in France
Our French subsidiary has been contacted by the local authorities as part of an investigation.
We have not yet been officially informed about the basis for the inquiry. However, based on the initial interviews conducted by the authorities, it appears that they are conflating the regulations governing French-employed drivers operating domestically within France with our employees who are engaged in international cross-border transportation, adhering to standard EU regulations and working conditions.
We are actively cooperating with the authorities’ investigation and anticipate no formal charges upon completion of their further inquiry.
