Roads are safer – but not safe enough
After a period of silence during the lockdowns, our roads have returned to their previous activity, even if they are not quite as busy as before. And the question about Road Safety is back – this is also what the latest EU statistics show.
EU numbers reveal that while road safety is improving, they are not falling fast enough to meet Europe’s targets.
Numbers show that professional-driven trucks are involved in fewer accidents than other vehicles. However, when they are involved in a crash, results are more likely more severe.
Therefore, we are continuously making internal campaigns in Kim Johansen Transport to make focus on truck driver safety. This month is no exception. We continue this focus.
